Every Step Carries Hope

Hope in Every Step was inspired by Kendle Salisbury and created to bring people together in support of those affected by stomach cancer.

After nearly three years of living with Stage 4 stomach cancer, Kendle wanted to turn her journey into an opportunity for connection, awareness, and action.

On November 7, 2026, patients, survivors, caregivers, families, friends, and supporters will come together at Crosby Confluence Park in St. George, Utah for a day of hope, strength, and community.

More Than a Race

Hope in Every Step isn’t about how fast you cross the finish line. It’s about who you’re walking for, who you’re running beside, and why you chose to show up.

The event features a 5K Run/Walk, 1-Mile Hope Walk, and Kids Fun Run, giving the whole community an opportunity to participate.

Together, we come together to honor patients and survivors, support those currently facing stomach cancer, recognize caregivers and families, remember loved ones we have lost, and raise greater awareness of stomach cancer.

Inspired by Kendle Salisbury

After nearly three years of living with Stage 4 stomach cancer, Kendle Salisbury invites her community to join her on the trail.

Her journey is at the heart of Hope in Every Step and serves as a reminder of the power of community, connection, and advocacy.

“Hope in Every Step is about celebrating the steps we are able to take — together.”

Supporting Hope for Stomach Cancer

Hope in Every Step is presented by Hope for Stomach Cancer (StoCAN).

Proceeds from the event benefit Hope for Stomach Cancer and help support our work for stomach cancer patients and their families through education, patient and caregiver support, awareness, and advocacy.
